We are excited to announce the expansion of our range of services to include Positive Behaviour Support.We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with current suitability at the Proficient or Advanced level to provide positive behaviour support services.On a daily basis you will be:
  • Assisting NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community.
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths.
  • Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.

About you
  • Current suitability at the Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential
  • Considerable experience providing support to people with behaviours of concern (professionally and/or personally) is essential
  • Flawless report writing skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills
  • Valid drivers licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle
