And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Our Data Center Design Engineering team is seeking an exceptional Mechanical Design Engineering Manager to drive transformative mechanical design solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. You'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation data center technologies, shaping critical infrastructure that powers global cloud computing.Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing mechanical design engineering team across the Asia-Pacific region
- Drive the team's global design consistency and standardization of mechanical systems across multiple geographical regions
- Manage and approve mechanical equipment innovations and design submissions
- Establish robust processes for internal design development and third-party vendor management
- Oversee procurement and technical specifications for mechanical Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment
- Manage team reporting, hiring, growth opportunities, annual goal reporting, KPIs and performance reviewsA day in the life

- Extensive experience in mission-critical design
- Proven track record in project management
- Experience managing a team of mechanical engineersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineering license
- Comprehensive understanding of data center design and critical equipment
- Expertise in building codes and regulations across the Asia-Pacific region
- Experience with fast-track design and complex upgrade projects
