
Product Manager – Governance and Disclosure

- Ensuring the product suite complies with all relevant legislation, and in particular, leading Design and Distribution Obligations.
- Ownership of relevant Product governance and risks and effective management of governance documentation and risks e.g. timely management of incidents, designing effective controls, frameworks, processes and policies.
- Lead the maintenance of, and update to Hostplus' suite of product disclosure documents and associated member communications, including significant event notices, website and dashboard updates, ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.
- Manage timelines, resources, cross-functional teams, and lead change management to ensure successful implementation of Product initiatives e.g. disclosure rolls, annual reports, distributor communications.
- Coach, mentor, develop and support key stakeholders and other members of the Product & Retirement team, especially the Product lead - Disclosure and Regulatory Change.
- Drive operational excellence and support distribution strategies.
- Successful product disclosure production, maintenance, design, review, and delivery in line with agreed or required timeframes.
- Continuous and ongoing compliance of Hostplus product, disclosure, DDO and product governance requirements.
- Forward planning for all disclosure and governance activity, together with relevant stakeholders.
- Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth change management.
- Role model of Hostplus values and behaviours.
- Clear understanding and support of Hostplus's product strategy across the business.
- Minimum five years demonstrated experience in a similar role or directly related and relevant role in the financial services industry.
- At least 3 years demonstrated experience in people leadership role(s).
- Tertiary qualifications in law, marketing, business, or commerce disciplines. Qualifications in project management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the superannuation industry and regulatory landscape.
- Proven ability to develop and operationalise product strategies and roadmaps.
