Bethanie, Western Australia’s leading not for profit aged care and retirement living provider, has been warmly welcoming and caring for seniors for over 65 years. We strive to lead the change in the way Australians think about ageing, recognising ‘old age’ as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to work night shifts providing support to residents at our Bethanie Elanora Aged Care Facility located in Bunbury. Bethanie Elanora in Bunbury is an 81 bed facility located close to the beach, offering some of the best aged care facilities in the area along with secure dementia care on site.You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.We have the following rosters available:Roster 1
Week 1: Monday and Thursday 10pm - 7.15am
Week 2: Monday and Wednesday 10pm - 7.15amRoster 2
Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday 10pm - 7.15am
Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday 10pm - 7.15amThe Role
  • Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs are met
  • Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
  • Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
  • Ensure residents' rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
About You
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as a team, and also independently
  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
  • Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
