Key Responsibilities:Safely and efficiently operate a heavy rigid waste collection vehicle.Follow designated routes for scheduled curbside rubbish bin collections.Conduct pre-start and post-start vehicle inspections and complete all necessary paperwork.Adhere strictly to all road transport regulations and company safety policies.Report any vehicle maintenance issues or route problems to the supervisor.Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with the public.Requirements:A valid and current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence.Proven experience as a heavy rigid driver, preferably in waste management or a similar field.A clean driving record and willingness to undertake a driver history checkStrong knowledge of local roads.The physical ability to handle the demands of the role, including getting in and out of the vehicle frequently.A commitment to health and safety procedures.Excellent reliability and punctuality. * Willingness to undertake driver suitability medical screeningShould you have any questions please contact Graeme on 0429 537 409At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
