Are you an experienced Azure Cloud Security Engineer with a strong background in Terraform and Landing Zones? We're recruiting for a 4-month contract role with a leading Sydney-based property business that's investing heavily in its cloud security posture and infrastructure.About the RoleAs an Azure Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and securing cloud environments using Azure-native services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will work closely with cloud architects and engineering teams to uplift the security and compliance of existing Azure platforms and build secure landing zones for future scalability.Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework.

Define and enforce security controls, policies, and guardrails across Azure environments.

Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform - must have

Collaborate with architecture, operations, and development teams to ensure security best practices are embedded across CI/CD pipelines.

Conduct risk assessments and recommend cloud-native security solutions.

Support incident response and assist in remediating vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or Cloud Platform Engineer with a focus on Azure.

Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Experience designing and deploying Azure Landing Zones.

Familiarity with Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and RBAC.

Understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, Zero Trust).

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Bonus Points For

Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-500, AZ-104, AZ-305).

Experience in the property or real estate sector.

Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and tooling.
