
Parish HR Partner

- Working closely with the regional bishops to ensure sound workplace practices are understood and followed in our parishes.
- Developing a deep understanding of the nature of our ordained and lay workers in the Sydney Anglican parish context.
- Providing strategic and operational HR support to parish leadership teams.
- Developing and driving strategic HR initiatives to address and grow healthy and strong workplace relationships in parishes.
- Proactively addressing systemic issues that impact the effective functioning of parishes.
- Supporting change management and HR systems implementation across parishes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proven HR generalist experience, ideally in a not-for-profit or faith-based context.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in influencing others and building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience and/or knowledge of the structure and operations of the Sydney Anglican Diocese is an advantage.
- Serve the gospel by supporting local churches.
