- Lead efforts in sites ISO 9001:2015. Manage the facility's Quality System: fulfill the Management Rep responsibilities completing internal audits, leading management reviews, and building action plans ensuring execution of appropriate corrective actions.
- Oversee all Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) activities, including audits, inspections, and laboratory testing for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Ensure training, testing procedures/ protocols are followed.
- Manage and develop the QA/QC team, fostering a culture of quality and technical expertise in lubricant formulation, testing, and standards compliance.
- Ensure the lab equipment and testing is running to the requirements described by NATA and the ASTM test methods.
- Lead root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes to address non-conformities, customer complaints, and product failures.
- Manage the Incident Report System: documents root causes of customer, internal, and supplier incidents and implements corrective actions where applicable.
- Work directly with the Regional Technical Manager for changes to formulations. Interfaces with Production and blenders to lead changes/updates to the blending systems.
- Apply lubricant product knowledge (base oils, additive packages, finished products) and performance properties to troubleshoot blending issues, ensure consistency, and maintain compliance with industry and environmental regulations.
- Lead safety programs to ensure the safety of employees working in the lab.
- Communicate and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures including WHS, environmental rules, regulations, ISO work instructions and company policies and maintain appropriate records.
- Undertake necessary communications in order to satisfy NATA requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring specifications and documentation is up to date.
- A minimum of 10+years of experience in Quality assurance.
- Sound knowledge of the requirements standard like ISO 9001.
- Previous successful people management experience.
- Excellent time management and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively accross all levels of the organization.
- Organized & Balanced, as well as independent and self-sufficient.

- A background in lubricant (desired) or automotive or automotive related activities or chemical.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 Int QMS.
- SAP knowledge.
