Their mission is to connect individuals and their data, empowering mining companies to make informed decisions, to improve safety, productivity, and decision-making across their operations.We are seeking a Senior QA Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in a flagship project, consolidating multiple product data streams into a single, centralised cloud platform.Responsibilities
Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for large-scale cloud-based data integration projects.
Plan, execute, and document test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Validate the successful consolidation of multiple Hexagon Mining product data streams into a unified platform.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to verify AWS deployments and infrastructure using Terraform.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across ingestion pipelines.
Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the lifecycle.
Promote QA best practices and mentor team members on testing standards.
Experience Required
Must already be based in Perth, WA.
5+ years in data quality assurance or test engineering, ideally within mining technology, GIS, or large-scale data platforms.
Proven experience in test strategy, planning, and execution for complex integrations.
Strong knowledge of cloud deployments (AWS preferred).
Hands-on experience with Terraform
Proficiency in testing APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
