- This mixed generalist position gives you experience across a varied caseload, from paediatric and adult, within the community health team.
- Work with other generalist speech pathologists to provide services to clients in a wide variety of settings and locations.
- This role, primarily based at Singleton, provides assessment and intervention for communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan.
- As a senior Speech pathologist, you will provide mentoring and supervision to other staff and work with the team on quality improvement projects.

- Have autonomy and be able to independently manage a busy and diverse generalist caseload.
- Singleton is a picturesque riverside town in the Hunter Valley, with rolling vineyards and plenty of outdoor adventure opportunities. Lake St Clair is just to the north of the town and is a popular spot for kayaking, sailing, fishing and water skiing.
- Thrill seekers can take advantage of Skydive Hunter Valley for a bird’s-eye-view of the beautiful vineyards and World Heritage wilderness.
- Singleton is just over a 2-hour drive north of Sydney, and only an hour from Newcastle, with trains from Sydney stopping regularly.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team on a day-to-day basis, with up to 5.2 FTE generalist speech pathologists within the Hunter Valley Sector providing services to clients in a wide variety of settings and locations.

- Annual Leave Allowances
- Up to 5 allocated days for the contract term (for full-time employees)
- Superannuation contributions 11%
- Salary packaging - Up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k meal & entertainment + Novated leasing
- Attraction incentive paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance of up to $10,000 in total for the first 12-months (pro-rata for temporary contracts of less than 12-months)
- Retention incentive of up to $10,000 thereafter annually (pro-rata for temporary contracts of less than 12-months)
- PLUS 3 months accommodation assistance (e.g. rent payments, payments for commercial accommodation)
- Additional annual professional development days (up to 5 more per year)
- Additional personal leave (up to 5 more per year)

- Must hold a bachelor or postgraduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part-time vacancies.
- This position is full-time; however, part-time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
