Reporting to the Technical Operations and Services Manager for Gaming Machines the Technical Manager - Gaming Machines Improvement and Innovation is accountable for overseeing the successful operation of all Gaming Machine technology within Crown and ensuring the effective delivery of improvements and Innovation to technical services.
The position of Technical Manager - Improvement and Innovation is vital in providing accurate technical advice and product knowledge in relation to Gaming Machine operations to key stakeholders. This role will also support the effective training and performance management of the team.
Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on product and ancillary technology
Ensure the department remains compliant to regulations and ensure the effective operation of gaming machines and ancillary technology
Establish and monitor all departmental KPOs to ensure departmental goals are met
Identify equipment shortages in a timely manner and communicate effectively with suppliers or repair personnel to ensure minimal product/technology downtime
Provide training and support to team members
To be successful in this role, you will need:
To have completed a trade or Tertiary qualification in Electronics is essential
A qualification in IT or a similar relevant discipline will be highly regarded however not required
Prior Technical Management experience is needed
A demonstrated ability to manage complex technical issues
A firm understanding of trend analysis and analytics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
Experience contributing to projects and managing small scale projects
Experience with gaming-specific technical software will be highly regarded however is not required for this role
