The RoleDubbo Base Hospital is a major rural referral hospital within the Western NSW Local Health District, providing specialist and subspecialist care to a catchment area of over 120,000 people. The hospital is equipped with modern facilities, a 24-hour emergency department, intensive care services, and a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities. It also serves as a teaching hospital for medical students and trainees, fostering a strong culture of education, collaboration, and continuous improvement.As Consultant Neurologist, you will:
  • Deliver high-quality neurological services for both inpatient and outpatient care
  • Supervise and mentor trainees, fostering skill development
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to service growth and clinical governance initiatives
RequirementsTo be eligible, you must:
  • Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or an equivalent overseas specialist qualification (CCT – UK, CSCST – Ireland, ABIM – USA, RCPSC – Canada, Vocational Registration – NZ)
  • Be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrate strong clinical, teaching, and communication skills
