Toll Global Forwarding is seeking a Senior Project Logistics Specialist to support the execution of all TGF Project activities across Australia. In this pivotal role, you’ll help grow our Projects business by strengthening relationships with existing customers and attracting new ones—delivering value through customer-focused solutions and operational excellence.This role offers frequent domestic travel and the opportunity for international travel, giving you the chance to work on diverse, high-impact projects across regions. Strategic Planning & Capability Building - Independently plan and coordinate daily activities while contributing to broader strategy and team capability development.
Business Growth & Innovation - Collaborate to identify and implement innovative or efficient solutions that drive customer-focused business growth.
Operational Excellence & Safety - Maintain high standards of work quality and safety, while coaching others to solve problems and improve performance.
Profitability & Ownership - Take ownership of outcomes beyond immediate responsibilities to enhance profitability and capital returns.
Customer-Centric Approach - Evaluate customer needs thoroughly and deliver solutions that foster long-term relationships.
Project & Financial Support - Assist with project activities, manage costings, invoices, accounts, and collaborate across teams to meet customer and business needs.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Freight Forwarding Expertise - Strong knowledge of international and domestic freight forwarding regulations, global forwarding operations, and market dynamics including competitors, carriers, and services.
Specialised Industry Experience - Hands-on experience in areas such as heavy haulage, oversized loads, project movements, stevedoring, ocean freight, customs brokerage, and administration.
Customer Service & Communication - Proven ability to engage with customers, demonstrating a strong service ethic and client-focused approach.
Organisational & Execution Skills - Methodical and detail-oriented with strong planning, time management, and execution capabilities.
Analytical & Commercial Acumen - Skilled in problem-solving, risk mitigation, and improving customer experience and business performance, with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Technical Proficiency - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills to support operational and administrative tasks.
