  • An ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate nursing care programs in a child and school health setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles of primary health care.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and an ability to utilise information systems.
  • Knowledge of current Aboriginal health issues and various community resources that may be utilised to address these issues.
