We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to enhance our financial and operational practices with their expertise and dynamic approach. If you’re driven to make a significant impact within our organization, we encourage you to apply.Your Responsibilities:As our Senior Accountant, your duties will encompass:Financial Management:
  • Ensure the precision of financial reporting, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, with inputs from the finance team.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analyses to verify all accounting information and ensure accurate transaction postings.
  • Manage payroll reconciliations, project cost allocations, and develop financial procedures to boost efficiency.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, maintain compliance, and manage the general ledger.
  • Oversee the development, monitoring, and reporting of annual budgets and cash flows, assist in budget preparation for proposals, and manage financial performance assessments.
  • Direct the annual audit, manage tax filings, and uphold the integrity of financial reporting.
Operational Management:
  • Oversee the organization’s operational aspects, including IT, administration, and contract management, to enhance efficiency and reporting.
Team Leadership:
  • Mentor and lead the Finance and Administration team, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders, contribute to strategic planning, and represent the organization externally as needed.
Who We’re Looking For:Qualifications & Experience:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Financial Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a senior finance role, with a deep understanding of accounting, financial management, and payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, notably XERO and Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record in time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to mentor and develop team members.
