Design & Build are recruiting on the behalf of a leading Construction company in Canberra.We are looking for a Foreman to work within the Site Team, being responsible for supervising and coordinating site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and keeping the project running to schedule.Key responsibilities:
Oversee all works on-site reporting to the Site Manager
Manage and lead site teams including trades and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations and quality standards
Coordinate with Engineers, Site Managers, and other stakeholders
Monitor progress and provide regular reports to the Site/Project Manager
Maintain high standards of safety on site
Assist with planning, ordering materials, and logistics
About you:
Proven experience working on commercial projects, fitout or construction
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
Health & Safety focused
Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
Must have experience working in the Canberra Construction Sector
