Established in 1874, we have grown to become the world leader in mining and civil blasting with a diverse of team of more than 13,000 across the world.It's an exciting time to join us - we are shaping the future of mining through digital and automated technologies, embracing new ways of thinking, pioneering innovation and reimagining the way we work.About the roleWe are excited to announce that we are on the lookout for 12 months fixed term Procurement Administrator to join our team located in our Welshpool office, working with a collaborative and friendly team from Mondays to Fridays.The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and managing goods coming into or going out of the store location, whilst ensuring operational excellence. Provides support in the development and execution of the procurement strategy ensuring that all purchases follow the policies and standard procurement process including proper use of supporting systems. Coordinates purchasing administration, documentation management and general planning and execution of all associated transactions.What you will be doing
  • Manages and optimizes good coming in and out of all store locations;
  • Maintains stores functionality, ensuring goverance and security of goods in and out ;
  • Provides support in works with suppliers in identification and resolution of potential issues/discrepancies related to transactional procurement and escalating where necessary;
  • Keeps effective and open communication between procurement and its internal customers and provides support to keeps internal stakeholders informed of issues or potential issues with purchases mad;e
  • Completes purchasing activity as required;
  • Supports the execution of end-to-end sourcing activities;
  • Supports administration tasks including freight booking, forwarding instructions (if applicable) documentation management, invoice management, freight optimization and general movement coordination.
What you will bring
  • Experience in store management practices and procurement;
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, practices, and regulations related to procurement of goods;
  • Proficiency in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve effective procurement and logistics practices;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members;
  • Intermediate user of MS platforms.
