The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 700 head of beef cattle per day, operating 6 days/week.About the RoleJBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting a passionate Production Control Recoveries Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, the Production Control Recoveries Officer plays a vital support role to the Plant, providing various yield reports and analysis.Your key responsibilities will include:

Focussing on production yields including:

Preparation of daily yield reports;
Yield testing and opportunities;
Daily yield results analysis, summary and feedback to departments;
Daily real time report summary (at major breaks) for both departments;
Daily piece reconciliation (both departments); and
Conducting weekly yield meetings with relevant team members.

New product documentation and implementation
Liaising with onsite customer sales
Undertaking internal auditing processes
Monitoring of product specifications
Daily communication with the Northern Corporate Yield Manager
Ad hoc reports as required by the Leadership team

About You

Excellent communication skills
Sound computer skills (MS Office)
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail
Previous experience within a similar plant operational department advantageous
