The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.About the roleThe position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:

Monitor CCTV and radio communications systems
Entry and Exit Monitoring
Conduct foot patrols
Complete reports and computer use
Vehicle patrols

Skills & experience

Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate
Current NT Security licence
Current NT Drivers Licence
Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security
Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periods
Great communication skills and Computer literacy skills
