THE COMPANYOur client is a leading Australian audit and business services firm specialising in audits for automotive dealerships, catering to a wide range of clients, from small operations to large businesses with turnovers between $20 million and $600 million. The firm manages multiple entities within its organisation, dealing with complex business structures, including family wealth and trust arrangements.THE OPPORTUNITYThis is an opportunity for a senior accountant who is competent in dealing vehicle dealership (small and large).This interesting role enables you to draw all your skills and experience as an accountant and auditor. Offering the opportunity, base in Sydney. Also, you can travel throughout Australia with a clear succession plan. Seeking someone who is interested in long term partnership opportunity.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct on-site audits at automotive dealerships (small to large)
  • Manage audit engagements independently or as part of a team, depending on client size
  • Travel frequently (5-6 trips per year) to regional towns and cities
  • Ensure high-quality audit services and maintain strong client relationships
  • Provide tax/business services support for multi-faceted entities
  • Assist business owners with their personal taxation requirements
  • Collaborate with senior managers and directors to ensure effective delivery of services
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ Australian audit and business services experience
  • Extensive experience with automotive industry audits is highly desirable
  • CA or CPA qualified or currently pursuing qualifications
  • Proven ability to manage audits independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to providing high-quality audit/tax business services
