Our customers are super passionate about our product.LocationEast Coast Australia - Hybrid Remote in Melbourne or Fully Remote otherwise.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced QA/Test Engineer to take on responsibility for driving improvements in our QA process and in the quality of what we release. This role also involves strategising and collaborating with the internal engineering and product teams to enhance the release quality of our product by manual and automated testing methodologies.A successful candidate is:

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior QA/Test Engineer at DISCO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Creating and executing test plans and test cases for new and existing features, covering functional, performance, and regression testing
  • Designing and developing test automation frameworks and tools
  • Manually testing software changes when required
  • Working with DevOps engineers to get automated tests into build pipelines
  • Identifying and documenting bugs and issues, and working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborating with product managers and engineers to define and refine requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies and advocating on product quality and test strategy
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of our QA processes over time
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working in QA as a Test Engineer, preferably in a SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking systems (e.g. JIRA)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress)
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and working in cross-functional Agile teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with performance and security testing
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services (e.g. AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Understanding of audio formats and tech
