
Senior Cost Manager

- Manage project profitability
- Externalise within the local property market to raise company profile and generate new leads
- Assist with bid writing and negotiation of our contracts
- Integrate with the cost management teams in South Australia and provide support when required.
- Work independently and take responsibility for deliverables
- Producing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
- Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting
preliminaries together, conducting pre tender estimates, tender
analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual
documents. * Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and thechange control processes, where applicable referring major
changes to line manager. * Progress claim assessments on site of drawings of the plan
- Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying
timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place. * Producing monthly post contract cost reports for the Line Managerto present to the client. * Inputting into value engineering.Qualifications
- Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
- Preferable RICS and AIQS accredited.
- Sound experience in cost planning in Healthcare, Education and Commercial projects.
- Defence experience and baseline security clearance is a plus
