  • Manage project profitability
  • Externalise within the local property market to raise company profile and generate new leads
  • Assist with bid writing and negotiation of our contracts
  • Integrate with the cost management teams in South Australia and provide support when required.
  • Work independently and take responsibility for deliverables
  • Producing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
  • Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting
the final cost plan. * Tendering and procurement, including managing the prequalificationstage, producing the tender list, putting the
preliminaries together, conducting pre tender estimates, tender
analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual
documents. * Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and thechange control processes, where applicable referring major
changes to line manager. * Progress claim assessments on site of drawings of the plan
  • Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying
out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that
timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place. * Producing monthly post contract cost reports for the Line Managerto present to the client. * Inputting into value engineering.Qualifications
  • Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
  • Preferable RICS and AIQS accredited.
  • Sound experience in cost planning in Healthcare, Education and Commercial projects.
  • Defence experience and baseline security clearance is a plus
