This role will be primarily building & supporting OCI-based infrastructure solutions for a wide variety of customers, with periodic involvement in AWS & on-prem environments hosting Oracle solutions.Key Responsibilities:Gathers technical requirements and translates requirements into infrastructure and software capabilitiesParticipates in providing gap analyses, from a technical perspective, highlighting current state, future state, client needs, best practices and competitionContribute to the timely delivery of OCI, AWS & on-premises solutionsHelp identify and resolve technical challengesProduce detailed low-level technical summaries and pertinent high-level executive summaries for relevant DXC teams and external stakeholdersProvide Managed Services support and act as a Lead Support consultantOptimise, fine-tune, fit for purpose our managed services operations while applying knowledge of customer’s businessQualifications & Experience:Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ year’s experience across Linux (OEL/RHEL) and/or UNIX (Solaris) systemsHands-on experience OCI implementation and BAU supportKnowledge across AWS implementation and BAU supportExperience building cloud environments with TerraformExcellent management, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication skillsHighly Desirable Qualifications:Strong familiarity in supporting Oracle DBAs on Oracle-based infrastructure.Familiarity with supporting OLVMAble to configure & support network infrastructure (e.g. Fortinet, OpenVPN)Relevant OCI, AWS & Oracle certificationsYou must have the ability to obtain a Government security clearance.Your working environmentIn alignment with our commitment to fostering a flexible and dynamic work environment, we have adopted a hybrid working approach that acknowledges the importance of in-person collaboration while recognising that the determination of your work location will be based on a range of factors to ensure both individual preferences and operational requirements are met.
