- Work directly with all relevant Stream/LoB team members to implement functions and enhancements across the SAP application footprint as well as administer and maintain the SAP technical landscape. Tasks not limited to but including:
- System installations
- System Patching and Upgrades (Stack and Release)
- Heterogeneous and homogenous system copies
- Full stack OS, application and database administration
- SAP application and database performance tuning
- Technical Configuration Management – BAU
- Incident resolution and management
- Problem/Case management
- Perform SAP BASIS technical consulting, including service restorations/impact analysis release management, and roadmap understanding for process/systems enhancements within the SAP application landscape and lifecycles
- At least 5+ years of SAP experience with broad knowledge of leading-edge SAP technology in ERP and S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Cloud Connector, BTP Cockpit as well as legacy components such as NetWeaver AS Java, SAP BW & SBOP BI/DS technical admin etc. experience should also include administration of connectivity to all SAP Cloud Products.
- Solid SAP Basis and ideally security knowledge encompassing all areas of system administration, performance and lifecycle management.
- Must have experience in a multi-customer environment in a consultancy (SAP Partner).
- Working knowledge and experience with various SAP components, operating systems and database technologies.
- HANA system administration incl. HSR as well as at least two other RDBMS types such as MSSQL, MaxDB, DB2, Oracle etc.
- PSE and certificate management.
- Favourable skillsets would include: Working with SAP ECS, SSO – SAML2, SNC & X-509/Kerberos, HANA, MSSQL, Oracle, Linux, Disaster Recovery execution, Heterogeneous System Copies, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM and Focus Run.
- Advantage: Experience and know-how of cloud environments such as RISE, Azure and/or AWS.
- Exceptional troubleshooting techniques, examples for full RCA and remediation of incidents with adherence to business processes, SLA's and SAP on platform/database best practices.
- Effective English communication skills to collaborate with customers.
- Must be self-sufficient, organised and proactive.
- Ability to multitask & prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
