Job DescriptionHelp create a home away from home.This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team based at Prominent Hill, SAThe roster is 8:6, 11 hour shifts FIFOAbout the Job:Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager, the Refrigeration Mechanic is expected to work as part of team to perform general repair work and maintenance. The main responsibilities of this role are to complete assigned preventative maintenance and inspections of all equipment .This includes, refrigeration repairs and preventative maintenance on split system AC and RAC units. Install, inspect, troubleshoot and maintain refrigeration equipment. Perform pre-start up checks on equipment and maintain and update the maintenance register. Ensure inventory levels are maintained and order supplies as required.Your Key duties will be repairs and maintenance of facilities on site, assemble, install test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools, troubleshoot specialized refrigeration equipment and machinery, diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem, test lines, components and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment, inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.About You:You will have experience completing facilities and building maintenance and inspections to an agreed schedule and assisting with the provision of refrigeration and associated services and duties to contribute to the smooth overall running of the site.Must be able to build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure prompt and professional service in dealing with all stakeholders.You will display a strong team focus with excellent customer service, ensure presentation and service is carried out to the client standards, plus have excellent time management skills, adhere to all workplace safety requirements and carry out other reasonable duties as designated by your supervisor.You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise work orders, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work without constant supervision and a positive attitude.What's nextSodexo offers a competitive salary package along with great employee benefits and a recognition program.If this sounds like the right job for you please click on "I'm Interested" and complete our 5 minute application process.QualificationsRefrigeration LicenseWhite CardRestricted Electrcal licenceFirst Aid/CPR
