
Project Support Officer

- Use of cost management tools and the SAP system - including updating and maintaining project Cost Plans
- Maintain and finalise all financial management activities for assigned projects - includes purchase orders, work orders, requisitions, budget allocations, invoicing, goods receipting, accruals, cost analysis, labour reports and corrections
- Generate project reporting, interpret project financial and performance information
- Assist in preparing documents for asset transfers
- Liaise with project team personnel, management, internal and external service providers and other stakeholders in the preparation of project financial activities.
- High level of skill in providing project controls / financial management / administrative services and support
- Previous experience using SAP R3 advantageous
- High level of stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and organisation skills, working to meet corporate deadlines
- Substantial level of skill with contemporary office software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Substantial level of skill in working in a team environment
- Knowledge of and willingness to commit to and work within Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours.
