The economy of Cowra Shire focuses on agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare & social assistance, education & retail trade.As the Director - Corporate Services, you will manage a professional team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality corporate support and operational excellence to both the Council and the community.The ideal candidate will lead Corporate Services, focusing on finance, customer service, information services, cultural facilities such as Library, Art Gallery and Civic Centre, and audit. Overseeing long-term financial planning, budget reviews, statutory reporting, and procurement, development and implementation of comprehensive audit strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
