Our client is a locally owned, leading supplier to the heavy industrial, food / production manufacturing and water industries in Australia. They specialise in the design and fabrication of complex steel structures. As a result of securing multiple long term preferred supplier contracts within power stations, food processing companies, mining production groups and government / water authorities. They are seeking to expand their design team by partnering with a Senior Structural Engineer who will also act as the Technical Lead.About You:
We are seeking an individual capable of working with a close-knit team of engineers, designers and fabricators to deliver projects and products to the highest standards.As a Senior Structural Engineer / Technical Lead you will offer:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within production and /or engineering consulting
  • RBP certification and CPEng (desirable)
  • Diverse range of structural engineering skills, including design and operation of structural steel equipment, rotating equipment and tanks
  • Experience to carry out structural engineering design and documentation from initiation through to construction stage,
  • Experience working in oil and gas facilities or similar manufacturing industries,
  • Experience using Solidworks or Inventor
  • Experience generating estimates and quotations.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
  • Structural Engineering Degree or equivalent experience/qualification is mandatory
