About the Company:Yatala Steel manufacturer with operations across Australasia that employs over 1500 people. Due to continuous growth over the past 30+ years, an opportunity has arisen for the ability to join the team in the Yatala division.About the Role:Positions Available:

Production Machine Operator / Offsider - Plasma Machines (training provided) x 3
Press Brake Operator x 1
Operation of Forklifts - Clark 2.5, 5, 8 ton, and 16 ton counterbalance forklifts
Occasional use of a hand saw or a reciprocating saw to cut pallets.

Roles will require the ability to use gantry cranes and forklifts to maneuver steel products - high-level training provided

Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 6.30 am to 3.00 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 12:00 pm = 38 hour working week

PLEASE NOTE - Pre-employment medicals, including hair follicle drug & alcohol screening, are completed as part of the recruitment process.About You:To be considered, you will need the following:

Previous experience in either Machine Operating or Dispatch Positions/manufacturing or production environments
High levels of core strength and fitness are required
Forklift ticket advantageous
Ability to use Gantry Cranes - full training provided
Have a proven understanding of a safety-first mentality in high-risk work environments
Provide value to an already high-performing team environment
Own reliable transport
Ability to work all hours/days specified
Must be able to provide 2 recent past employment references
Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol and fitness assessment

Pay Rates

$35.00 per hour for machine operators - Day Shift
Overtime Available with Penalty Rates
$40.00 per hour for Press Brake operators - Day Shift
