
Workforce Planning and Training Manager

- Lead the Workforce Planning team, including the Production Talent Acquisition Officer and Production Trainers, to deliver effective, timely, and compliant rostering, recruitment, and training for operational employees.
- Provide workforce planning recommendations that optimise labour efficiency and minimise costs, while maintaining compliance with employment legislation and industrial instruments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with managers and supervisors to implement effective rostering systems and processes across the custom facility.
- Collaborate with Payroll, People Operations, and third-party agencies to support recruitment, attendance management, and smooth cross-functional workflows.
- Oversee the accuracy and maintenance of rostering systems, employee details, and workforce planning documentation, including process guides and cheat sheets.
- Lead the delivery and reporting of key workforce metrics, providing insights on overtime, meal breaks, shift swaps, absenteeism, and operational workforce performance.
- Drive recruitment strategy for production roles, including agency partnerships.
- Deliver structured onboarding and training programs to build capability and performance.
- Partner with Payroll, People Operations, and site leadership to ensure seamless workforce coordination.
- Represent Workforce Planning in operational projects and stakeholder engagements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a safe, high-performing workplace culture grounded in accountability, empathy, and adherence to WorkSafe, HelloFresh Group, and OH&S standards.
- Previous experience in workforce planning, rostering and recruitment, whilst leading and developing teams.
- Experience working with and interpreting Awards.
- Experience in continuous improvement and quality control will be highly regarded
- including lean manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Experience in data analysis (desirable).
- Tertiary or industry related qualification(s) - desired but not essential.
- Methodical and demonstrate an excellent attention to detail.

- Able to educate and transfer knowledge.
