The Anaesthetics Department is made up of a supportive and experienced team, including more than 20 Fellows of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA), as well as a committed junior medical workforce. The department delivers a broad scope of anaesthetic services across multiple campuses, managing patients of all ages and levels of complexity—from neonates through to older adults.Team members are responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthetic care across a wide range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics, and trauma. The role also includes training and supervising anaesthetic registrars and junior doctors, participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to clinical research and education. Opportunities exist to be involved in collaborative research and to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.Location

Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists- FANZCA.
Within six months of obtaining FANZCA Fellowship.
