The department is well-resourced, clinically progressive, and offers opportunities to influence the future direction of emergency care in the region.About the Role:As a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you’ll play a central role in delivering high-level clinical care, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to ongoing service improvement and safety initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert emergency care across a wide range of clinical presentations
- Lead and support junior doctors and nursing staff
- Foster collaborative relationships across departments for seamless patient care
- Engage in audits, education, and quality improvement activities
- Contribute to policy development and uphold clinical governance standards
- FACEM or equivalent specialist registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable emergency setting
- Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement
- Leadership capabilities in a multidisciplinary environment
