You will be responsible for:

Shaping the future direction and implementation of Council’s urban growth areas.
Leading a complex yet exciting project, managing consultants, and other key stakeholders to lead the review of Council’s Developer Contribution Plans.
Representing and negotiating on behalf of Council with relevant key stakeholders such as Developers, Community and Governments.

About the Successful CandidateAs our ideal candidate, you will have:

A degree qualification in Urban and Regional Planning, Engineering and/or a related discipline. Alternatively, equivalent relevant experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated high-level strategic and tactical thinking, planning and project management skills and commercial acumen as applied to development projects and programs.
Experience in the development and interpretation of policies and strategies for informing the future growth and development of an urban area and innovative approaches to strategic planning.
Extensive experience in project management and/or leading major planning projects including projects involving multi-disciplinary teams and managing consultants.
