About the Service:This Before and After School Care service is located in Southern Sydney, near Hurstville. They are dedicated to providing a well rounded OSHC experience for all students, with a focus on building lifelong habits that will aid them in a bright future. They are looking for a Coordinator, who is eager to assist in building on these active programs, as well as building on their well founded relationships with the school, parents and students.About the Role:The Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of day to day operations and delivery of the programs. The successful candidate will be proactive in their approach and confident in leading the team from the front. They will have experience in a similar role, devising programs and menus to promote a positive environment. They will work closely with the Area Manager to maintain a fun, safe and compliant environment.Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrated ability to coordinate a team and provide Strong leadership, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
Continually assess and understand the needs and preferences of students and tailor program activities accordingly
Develop and implement creative and engaging ideas and activities that promote learning, fun and growth
Experience in creating and implementing OSHC Programs
Oversee daily operations, adhering to policies, safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Liaise with School committee to ensure overall operations are running smoothly
Build positive working relationships with parents, guardians and the school community
Ability to direct, develop, and implement an engaging program that is stimulating and of high-quality
Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills

About You:The successful candidate will be dedicated to achieving the overall goal for ensuring the children are safe and receive an enriching experience while attending the OOSH Program. They are professional in their manner, articulate themselves in person and via email, are adaptable to a changing environment and continue to maintain these in a confrontational situation.Requirements:

Full availability Monday to Friday 7:00am – 9:30am and 3:00pm – 6:00pm and additional admin hours. Admin hours can be done from the office or from home.
Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one ASAP)
Drivers Licence and access to a Vehicle
Current childcare First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (or willing to obtain)
Child Protection Training (Identify and Report Young People and Children at Risk)
Food Safety Supervisor Training (or willing to obtain)
Minimum 1-year experience working in a Children’s service
Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or equivalent
Experience using Xplor or other student enrolment software
Previous OSHC experience
Experience in running sports, games and activities
