
Die Setter

- Start up and shut down machine & driers as per company's procedure
- Change dies and inserts and make adjustment as needed
- Use crane to set and remove dies from machines
- Cycle the machine to produce good parts
- Check parts for proper tolerances, surface blemishes, etc and make adjustment to compensate any irregularities.
- Set and adjust machines until target parameters for part have been achieved and seek to minimize reject rate.
- Dedicated to learning from others & share skills and knowledge.
- Responsible for meeting quality standards.
- Accurate recording of production records (production settings, waste, etc)
- Ensuring compliance with OH&S, regulatory, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Tool Maker / Die Setter / Moulder
- Any equivalent combination of experience in Setting Dies, training and/or education as an Injection moulding die setter / moulder is an advantage
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence.
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar Injection Moulding Machine Die Setter role within a manufacturing or industrial setting with strong mechanical background.
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Solid understanding of maintenance practices and production priorities.
- Knowledge of safety standards, and equipment regulatory requirements.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Clear and effective communicator with great interpersonal skills.
- A team player who supports colleagues and takes pride in their role.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of prioritising tasks under pressure.
- Open to learning and driven to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Reliable, flexible, and always up for a challenge-with a sense of humour!
