Your day-to-day activities:
  • Conduct pool opening procedures, including removing pool covers, cleaning the pool and surrounds
  • Place lane ropes in pool and prepare all safety equipment
  • Test the pool water and record the daily results in SMM
  • Conduct lifeguard activates throughout the opening hours of the pool
  • Undertake the rescue of any user as required in accordance with standard work instructions covered by the certification
  • Ensure all pool safety equipment and rescue equipment is always available
  • Conduct pool closing procedures
  • Manage access to swimming pools by entitled members only
ABOUT YOU
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Genuine passion for excellent customer service
  • Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
  • Certificate III in Fitness (preferred)
