As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, driving team performance, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. You will be responsible for leading a team of up to 10 staff, promoting a high performing and collaborative culture, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team in a manufacturing/production setting
- Coordinate workflow and operational tasks to meet production targets
- Monitor product quality to meet internal and external specifications
- Support team development through training and daily coaching
- Maintain strong relationships with key departments including Warehouse, Maintenance, Technical, and HR
- Uphold WHS procedures and contribute to a safety-first culture
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong team management and people development skills
- Sound knowledge of production equipment and machinery
- Solid time management, delegation, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment with physical/manual demands
- Competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
