Job DetailsLocated in Cranbourne West, this steel manufacturer is seeking experienced Machine Operators with a forklift licence to join their team to operate their slitting machine. The successful candidates will join the team on a day shift working 6am - 2:36pm Mon to Thurs & 6am - 11:36am Fri.Your responsibilities will include:
Loading and unload machines with sheet metal
Operate the slitting machine to cut coils of steel
Operating a forklift to move stock around
Maintaining a clean workstation
General labouring as required.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
A forklift licence
Previous experience operating a slitter machine highly advantageous
Be able to do manual handling and heavy lifting
Good work ethic and be self-motivated
Be able to work independently
Have a high level of commitment and detail
Excellent verbal and written English skills
