You will play an integral part in a team that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across the built environment, transport, land and water, energy and government sectors.Our current committed and projected workload provides a unique and specific opportunity for a Senior Environmental Scientist, Consultant or Engineer to join the team in our Perth office. The role offers diverse, interesting and challenging work with the opportunity to make your mark in a consulting environment.Here are the key things you’ll do:
  • Plan sampling design and coordinate field programs.
  • Lead field programs implementing soil, groundwater and surface water sampling, including drilling supervision, test pitting and groundwater monitoring well installation.
  • Provide high quality data gap assessments, and contaminated land investigations, in accordance with ASC NEPM requirements.
  • Develop reports to exceptional technical and editorial standard and the work collaboratively with the team to meet client expectations.
  • Provide proposal and project management support to the contaminated land team.
What can you bring to the team?The role would include a mixture of office and field-based tasks. To be successful in these roles, you will have:
  • A degree in environmental engineering or science disciplines.
  • Relevant experience in undertaking contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations.
  • A strong professional work ethic and commitment to health and safety for yourself, your team, subcontractors and clients.
  • Detailed understanding of the Contaminated Sites Act 2003 and National Environment Protection Measures and other current and emerging National and Western Australian legislation, standards and guidelines for contaminated land.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A current driver’s license.
