Join us.Job DescriptionWhat will a day in this role look like:

Carrying out Line route planning and selection using ArcGIS.
Using PLS-CADD to carry out design of transmission and distribution lines from feasibility and concept stage to detailed and construction designs, as well as commissioning and post-construction phases.
Undertake Electrical design of transmission lines (for Electrical Engineers).
Undertaking modelling of structures using PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE and design of respective foundations (for Civil/Structural Engineers).
Develop construction drawings and author technical reports per AECOM and Client standards and guidelines.
Training and mentoring of junior design engineers.

At least 5 years of relevant transmission lines industry experience
In depth knowledge of transmission line design up to 330kV and higher voltage levels
Excellent organisation with strong communication skills, self-motivated and a team player
Site experience / experience in projects being constructed
University degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
Proficient in PLS software packages
