Are you ready to take the next step in your civil engineering career?We're looking for a Career Level 4 Civil Engineer to join our client's team based in Wide Bay and contribute to a wide range of impactful projects from roads, bridges, and tunnels to council, land development, rail, airports, and water systems.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working across multidisciplinary teams, and seeing tangible results from their designs. You'll be working under the guidance of senior and project engineers on both standalone and collaborative projects that shape our communities.What You'll Be Doing
  • Plan, design, and deliver civil engineering projects across sectors such as transportation, utilities, and land development.
  • Create engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports using CAD and other design tools.
  • Develop and evaluate civil systems and specifications, including material selections and construction methods.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design alignment and project success.
  • Contribute to project proposals, cost estimates, and presentations.
  • Attend coordination meetings and site visits, contributing to project reviews and contract administration.
  • Assist with QA/QC processes and take initiative to resolve technical challenges on projects.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts in design methodology, documentation, and engineering standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (with emphasis in Civil or Mechanical Engineering).
  • A solid understanding of civil engineering principles and experience working on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Familiarity with civil design software (e.g., 12d, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
  • Ability to work under general supervision while handling varied assignments and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
