- Be active on the Island, in a flexible and culturally safe community of practice
- Ongoing, Full-Time role, based in Launceston (preferred) or Hobart
- Perform scholarly undergraduate and (if relevant) postgraduate coursework teaching of an exemplary quality and provide leadership in key areas of learning and teaching in the discipline.
- Provide exemplary quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention for clients within the University's multi-disciplinary health clinic.
- Facilitate and lead quality work-integrated learning experiences for students that has scaffolded, connected and supported pedagogical experience.
- Provide leadership to the team through regularly exceeding the University's research performance expectations for Level D, undertaking high-quality research of international standing.
- Provide leadership and contribute to the development and maintenance of productive and effective links inside the University, and locally and nationally within the discipline, relevant interdisciplinary domains, profession, industry and/or wider community.
- A record of leadership in university-level teaching and learning, and a demonstrated ability to deliver dynamic and relevant learning experiences for students across all delivery modes using contemporary teaching practices.
- Clinical expertise with recency or currency in occupational therapy practice.
- A significant record of, and continuing commitment to, impactful research that has made innovative contributions to allied health, demonstrated by a strong record of high-quality publications, presentations at conferences, and success in securing external funding.
- A record of contributing to building and maintaining effective and productive links locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, industry (where relevant) and the wider community.
- Effectively deploys management systems including planning, operational controls, ongoing performance management and reviews, progress and impact measurement and retrospective operational and outcome reviews.
