Guided by our values of Family, Teamwork, Excellence, Respect, and Honesty, we are committed to building sustainable success across both our men's and women's programs.The RoleReporting to the Head of Women's Football, the NRLW Head Coach is responsible for leading the team to competitive excellence on and off the field by establishing a high-performance culture grounded in clearly defined values and objectives.The role includes developing game plans, overseeing player development, and ensuring all coaching activities align with the club's vision. The Head Coach will also work closely with the recruitment committee to plan and deliver recruitment strategies, using scouting, data analysis, and networks to identify and attract top talentKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement game strategies and training programs to maximise team performance.Provide fundamental and technical coaching across all phases of the season (pre-season and in-season).Conduct thorough previews and reviews with coaching staff, including video and performance analysis.Lead all coaching sessions, setting high standards and striving for continuous improvement.Collaborate with the Head of High Performance and NRLW/NRL coaching staff to design and deliver training plans.Initiate and monitor player development plans, setting clear targets and providing feedback.Manage squad selection, ensuring transparency and fairness in line with team policies.Conduct end-of-season reviews to guide future player and squad development.Maintain team discipline on and off the field, upholding Wests Tigers' values and reputation.Build and maintain strong relationships with players, staff, sponsors, and the broader rugby league community.Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional culture that prioritises athlete wellbeing and dual-career support.What We're Looking ForThe successful Coach will be a program builder - capable of driving immediate competitiveness while putting in place frameworks, standards, and processes that set the foundation for long-term sustainability.Essential RequirementsApplication InstructionTo apply, please submit your CV and cover letter outlining your coaching experience and your vision for leading the Wests Tigers NRLW program.
