As a Senior Solution Architect - Networks at Fujitsu, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade infrastructure services, driving ICT system refresh and support programs for a diverse customer base. You will lead small to medium design teams of Fujitsu architects, consultants, project managers, and partner organisations to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that exceed expectations. In this client-facing role, youll work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into integrated, future-ready architectures that enable strategic transformation.Operating at a senior level, you will define and communicate high-level solution structures that align with business goals, best practices, and Fujitsus architectural standards. Youll provide expert guidance across technology, process, and organisational change, ensuring solutions are technically sound, operationally efficient, and commercially viable. From embedding automation to ensuring long-term compatibility, your work will shape scalable, secure, and sustainable technology outcomes for our customers.Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Defines small to medium technical projects for customers or Fujitsu, influencing their view of acceptable investment level. Determines strategies, architectures and proposals.
  • Shapes technical proposals to be acceptable to the customer and may make solution/service trade-offs.
  • May lead small to medium design team, defining the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, and identifying strategic level risks and remedies.
  • Determines the approach to whole classes of business, leading and influencing others in the development of new offerings.
  • Works with customers to understand their business strategy and develop IT infrastructure strategies and architecture for significant areas of their business.
  • Leads a team to agree customer requirements and produce the design, setting high level criteria for the design of major solutions and exercising design control over the implementation.
  • Direct others in solving complex problems based on existing solutions and processes, considering multiple perspectives and diverse sources of information that may be ambivalent.
  • Shares knowledge with colleagues and makes useful additions to the Fujitsu knowledge base.
  • Works closely with Lead Architect in planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all activities related to the integration of the ZTA to meet the business requirements of the Fujitsu customers
  • Partner with Sr Solution and Lead Architects of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures and strategies.
  • Superior inter-personal and communication skills. Ability to tailor messaging according to audience: C-level stakeholders to technical architects
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10-years network architecture and design experience, with experience in cloud Technologies and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) with Focus on Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) preferable.
  • Experience with Arista or Juniper or Extreme Network solutions preferred.
  • Broad technical understanding across key domains including enterprise architecture, security, integration, business process, and user experience.
  • Familiarity with formal architectural methods and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF), and experience producing enterprise-grade solution documentation.
  • Good understanding of AI and its use in networking (agentic AI etc, observability, self healing networks) preferable.
  • Comfortable operating in pre-sales and delivery contexts, contributing to customer proposals, RFP responses, and bid presentations.
  • Experience in building relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Complete responsibility for technical input to qualification and business approval meetings, designing larger more complex solutions.
  • Shapes technical proposals to be commercially acceptable to the customer and may make solution/service trade-offs.
  • Defines the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, controlling technical scope and the work of the design team in order to ensure an acceptable cost structure.
  • Leading projects and providing overall governance to ensure successful outcomes for customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to own document cycles end to end.
  • Provides consultancy level engagement and be a trusted advisor to key Fujitsu accounts.
  • Represents Fujitsu at customer forums, conferences, and professional bodies to build Fujitsus reputation in the marketplace.
  • Establishes customer requirements for a solution building strong relationships and acting as a major influence in the customer choosing Fujitsu.
  • Contributes to the definition of customers overall IT architecture, designing new solutions of significant size and complexity, and can manage the work of specialists contributing to the design and implementation.
  • Shares knowledge with colleagues and makes useful additions to the Fujitsu knowledge base.
  • Leads functional teams and small to medium projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity affecting certain sub functions of the business
  • Demonstrated ability to balance innovation with pragmatism and delivery feasibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high standards of professionalism and presentation.
  • Strong proposal writing and storytelling capability, tailored to varied audiences from engineers to executives.
  • Current AGSVA Security Clearance or a willingness to gain AGSVA Security Clearance.
  • Minimum CCNP level networking qualification or equivalent vendor certification.
  • Relevant N/W Vendors Certifications from Vendors like Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Extreme Networks, Palo Alto, F5, AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc
