
Senior End-User Computing Engineer

- Provide Level 3 support to government clients, resolving complex incidents and delivering a high standard of technical service.
- Deploy and manage Modern Device Management (Intune / Azure AD) solutions across government-aligned environments, ensuring adherence to security and compliance frameworks.
- Administer and support SCCM for SOE imaging, patch management, application deployments, and detailed reporting.
- Package and test applications (MSI, IntuneWin, App-V if required) in compliance with government security baselines.
- Develop PowerShell scripts and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks and system maintenance.
- Maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Active Directory structures in line with security standards such as ISM, Essential Eight or internal hardening requirements.
- Utilise Nexthink or similar DEX (Digital Employee Experience) tools for analytics, monitoring and proactive remediation.
- Liaise with government stakeholders and security teams to ensure technical changes meet compliance and change governance requirements.
- Support audit, security review and reporting processes as part of client obligations.
- Contribute to EUC roadmap projects such as Windows 11 uplift, SOE compliance refresh, Autopilot implementation and secure remote access initiatives.
- 3–5+ years' experience in enterprise or government IT environments providing EUC / Infrastructure support.
- Strong expertise in Intune / Azure AD, including Conditional Access, compliance policies and secure device provisioning.
- Proven experience with SCCM in large-scale desktop fleets.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
- Experience working with government security standards (e.g. ASD Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF, SOE baselines).
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, GPO design and Windows 10/11 configuration in a secure enterprise context.
- Application packaging skills and familiarity with enterprise change control processes.
- Proven experience delivering Level 3 support and handling escalated issues professionally.
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory) with ability to obtain or maintain Baseline or NV1 clearance.
- Prior experience supporting state or federal government departments.
- Experience with Nexthink, ServiceNow, or other asset/incident management platforms.
- Exposure to SOE development, Autopilot, or zero-touch deployment projects.
- Understanding of ITIL practices, especially within a government service delivery environment.
- Microsoft or ITIL certifications (e.g. MS-102, AZ-104, MD-102, ITILv4).
