You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting day-to-day business activities, ensuring compliance, and helping to navigate complex legal matters. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering timely, commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of business matters
  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts including goods, services, consultancy, leases, and IT
  • Promoting compliance with legislative and contractual obligations
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to proactively identify legal risks and solutions
  • Liaising with external counsel on complex legal issues
  • Assisting in the development of policies, procedures, and training on legal matters
  • Supporting the General Counsel - Crown Melbourne on strategic legal initiatives
About YouYou're a commercially minded legal professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You enjoy partnering with the business, solving complex problems, and providing pragmatic legal advice that supports strategic outcomes.You will bring:
  • Extensive post-admission experience, including at least 3 years in-house
  • Strong experience in drafting and advising on a broad range of contractual and commercial matters
  • Employment law and litigation experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Admission to practice as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • High level of computer literacy and attention to detail
