
Communications Events Officer

- Lead end-to-end communications strategies for promoting events
- Develop engaging, high-quality copy across website, email, and social platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape messaging that resonates with different audience segments
- Source and repurpose existing content (e.g. video highlights, research summaries) to fuel campaigns
- Coordinate social and digital content in collaboration with designers and contributors
- Build and deliver targeted email campaigns, working closely with the CRM team
- Support speaker coordination and provide on-the-ground comms support during events
- Contribute to post-event debriefs and campaign performance reviews
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or events
- Confident copywriter with a flair for turning complex ideas into clear, engaging messages
- Enjoys collaborating across teams and disciplines to deliver results
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a creative mindset
- Comfortable using digital platforms such as Microsoft Office, Canva, WordPress, and CRMs
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to attend events outside of regular office hours as needed
