We actively encourage women and those from diverse backgrounds to apply for our roles.About the roleWe are looking to fill a Field Service Technician position to join our South East Print Production team, providing outstanding service and support to support to our valuable customer base.The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and support of Colour and B&W print production equipment and ancillary products with associated software & service solutions.Working as part of the VIC Service Team, you will ensure customer satisfaction through on-site Corrective and Preventative maintenance on customer equipment. This role works within a team of dedicated technicians and reports directly to the Service Delivery Manager.As part of your role, you will receive practical benefits including a company-provided vehicle, mobile phone, and other tools necessary to help you succeed on the job and stay connected with your team.Previous experience in the Print Production industry is highly desirable and will be looked upon favourably, although not essential for the right candidate in a similar industry looking to start their career in a hands-on technical role with fantastic learning and development opportunities.As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks.Ideal CandidateWe are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused individual to support our production print customers. The ideal candidate will bring:· Experience working with high-volume production printers, digital presses, or similar equipment (Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Fuji, Canon, etc.)· Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset· A solid understanding of print workflows, colour quality, and finishing processes· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders· The ability to work independently, while maintaining strong team communication and a transparent approach to workload· A genuine commitment to continuous learning and technical developmentRequirementsEssential Requirements· Technical field service experience, ideally with production printers, digital presses, or high-volume print systems· Strong mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills· Solid understanding of network connectivity, print servers, and production print environments· Proven ability to perform in time-sensitive or high-pressure environments· Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail· Valid Driver's License· Ability to obtain a Police Check, Working with Children Check, and AGSVA Security Clearance (preferred)· Flexibility to participate in an after-hours standby roster as required· Current Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)BenefitsWhy Konica Minolta?
