Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Supervisor with experience in major Capital Projects in a Smelter or heavy industry / mining environment. This is a contract role engaged for an initial 12 month period with strong possibility of extension.Your key accountability is to oversee work performed by construction contractor teams on execution of construction works, aligning with company standards/ frameworks, integration and interface management across the project’s lifecycle, to ensure project delivery is in line with the approved statement of requirements and stakeholder expectations.What You Will Be Doing
- Overseeing the Electrical and Instrumentation components for major Capital Works Projects
- OH&S inspections and implementation
- Daily interactions with the crew members to ensure all safety compliance in the workplace
- Liaison with Engineers and Project Management to resolve contractual scope gap issues between contractors to ensure continuity of installation works
- Daily progress reporting
- Reviewing and signing off all documentation to allow construction | maintenance | commissioning activities to commence.
- Ensure that quality and workmanship is maintained and not compromised by any milestone deadlines.
