As part of this program, they have inherited 4 main data centres with incumbents of NTT and Interactive. The merger has led to an opportunity to consolidate onto cloud and decommission both the data centres and end-of-life equipment and they do not wish to refresh or renew these arrangements in the next 12 months.Hence the urgency for this piece of work which is simply a tactical VMWare migration rather than a move to a full cloud native environment.
